Now in its 7th year, Eastbourne Winter Wonderland will be taking place on Sunday 8th December from 2pm-9:15pm on Horsa Close, Eastbourne which will bring the whole community together whilst raising money for charity.
This year’s Winter Wonderland will be particularly special as it will also be in memory of organiser, Henry Chapman, who sadly passed away earlier this year. This year’s nominated charity is Children with Cancer Fund (charity Reg: 111064) which was Henry’s favourite.
CountyClean Group is happy to have sponsored the event to enable new organisers, Louise and Richard Chapman, (also brother and sister of Henry) to hire the toilets needed for the event.
Louise and Richard said “with the support of the local community and businesses we have been able to raise much-needed funds for local charities year on year. We believe that we truly bring the magic of Christmas to many families across the town with our Santa sleigh visits out in the streets of Eastbourne.”
Louise and Richard have also put out a call for local businesses to make kind donations of cash, vouchers or other products to go towards the raffle prizes and even building materials to help build the displays.
Tickets can be bought from 6 Horsa Close in advance, adults tickets are £1.00 and children are 50p. On the door adults admission will be £2.00 and children £1.50.
